My Year so far!

What a day it has been. Wow, I don't know where to start with the emotions I have felt.
This was a day we will cherish 4 ever.
After having a big hog come in yesterday right at last light we decided to take the 30/30 with us as back up today.
Well at 4:30 we had 6 hogs come in. I have already given these hogs a free pass bout a month ago with the rifle.
I had hung 2 lock ons together in one tree earlier this week after seeing all the hog sign. I was wanting Nolan so bad to get his first bow kill. Well it all happened today.
After getting set up I told him if we saw more than one I was gonna shoot right after him with the rifle.
We had a group of 6 come and I'm telling him "shoot a small one, get your first xbow kill. Just as he is about to shoot in comes this monster and gives him a 25 yd broadside shot. WOW!! He just smoked her. They take off running and I pop a 150 lb or so Boar on the run at 50 yds with the rifle. My kill is irrelevent. I still waited about thirty minutes to pick the trail up but a blind man could have followed it. She went 150 yds. This is all about my 10 yr old holding his composure and making another great shot.
It took 6 phone calls before I got a hold of anyone that could help me with this thing.
Y'all wanna guess the weight?

I am VERY impressed by Lil BB and you. Great shot Nolan and congrats on your 1st bowkill! Congrats to you Martin for the other hog and more importantly for being a great father by sharing the outdoors w/ Nolan. That's just too cool!

I'm guessing 307lbs....
