I am going to pick me up a Mossberg 500 slugster next week.It has a fully rifled 24" barrel with cantilever scope mount.I can't wait!I usually use my smoothbore 11-87 with rifled slugs for jump shooting hogs,but I wanted something a little more dependable past 75yds.

I have a 20" rifle sighted rifle slug barrel on one of my 870s. I dont like it. Thos sabot slugs are expensive as hell and the recoil makes me flinch like crazy. I bought it to hunt with but I cant shoot it well enough to make a responsable shot. I lost the stock barrel (how i did that I will never know) or I would put it back on.

I have a Ithaca model 37 featherlight with a deerslayer barrel. It shoots rifled slugs but it is pretty accurate. Jimmy

I've always said I was going to order a slug barrel for my Mossberg 500, but just haven't ever done it.

I got mine off of ebay when you could still buy gun stuff on there.

I might swap ya for a smooth bore 18.5"

I think me buying my muzzleloader had something to do with not getting me a slug barrel.

In 12ga. it's a '75cal rifle 'I;m not scared to shoot anything but I HATE 12ga' slugs'
Thats where I loose alot of 3 gun matches is a course of fire that requires slugs
